Sharper Image light we paid $200 for a few years ago. Finally the lights went out and I called Sharper Image. They said the bulb was not replaceable unless I sent the bulb back to them. Then they could not find the manufacturer because. The company was recently sold. I found this lightbulb and thought what the heck, worth a try. It works! My lamp has a dimmer and it seems to work fine. What really annoys me about Sharper Image is that they used a standard lamp that Verilux sells in more regions, but they made a very small modification to the lamp so Verilux doesn't fit in the fixture. I doubt I will ever buy from Sharper Image again. But this lightbulb rocks!
