I've been doing my own work recently, using an old fashioned reel and even the poke method, but this machine is by far my favorite. It's so simple and easy to adjust the tension. I'm by no means a pro, but I managed to draw a character I've wanted to do for a long time and I'm impressed with the results. Another advantage: It is wireless. You simply charge it with the C-cable, plug in the cartridge and you're good to go! It requires much less effort than a "traditional" tattoo machine, which requires a pedal and a proper needle attachment, among other things. I highly recommend it, whether you are a beginner or an advanced user. It works great, easy to charge and just as easy to use!
