Looks more expensive than it is
I found the recessed light in my apartment bedroom incredibly boring - lacking the ability to change out the light fixture, I bought a socket extender for the socket, and hung the chandelier from it.
It really looks great in the room and was a cheap upgrade. It's plastic and a bit annoying to untangle out of the box, but looks gorgeous once up! Lots of compliments on this.
