The first bad part. I have no idea how people who say it's warm feel. Calling it a thermal base layer is not true. Received yesterday, it snowed today so I put them on to blow snow. . I wore them under my army pants, which I always wear when clearing snow. When I wasn't home it was about 34 degrees and it stayed that way all the time. Bottom line, my 25 year old, worn out genuine terramar Thermik, which I wanted to replace with this one, produces significantly more heat than this one. Even while shoveling and warming up, my upper body was sweaty and my feet were cold. I'm not sure if they provided isolation at all. And now the best part. I'm 6ft 2", 205" tall with a lean, athletic build. I ordered a large and it fits perfectly. Tight like compression pants should be. Flexible, well designed. They are good pants for cool, not cold, weather sports. And perfect for relaxing at home. Bottom line, great compression stockings, terrible isolator.
