I recently went back to a safety razor after cartridge blades started paying off a second mortgage. I cut myself badly. My electrics have never worked. I have tried different blades and always with the same result. I've always liked Pinaud's products and decided to give it a try. Doesn't matter! Virtually no nicks and much longer blade life. I also use Clubman shaving cream. I love the smell of shaving cream at the hair salon. This oil has a pleasant lemon smell and the oil does not feel like oil. In fact, at first I didn't think it would have any impact. I am on the mend. It's just a bomb for me. UPDATE: I no longer use shaving cream and only use this oil. This works even better for me. No razor burn, no bumps, no cuts, again for me. Every beard is individual.
