The sound is pretty clear. The bass is easy to hear, but the highs are pushed a bit into the background, which makes the mix so-so. It is getting loud. I bought this to replace my UE Megaboom which I really liked. Doesn't sound as clear as it is. Also, with a cylindrical design, one would expect the sound to be reproduced in a nearly 360° field, but no. Only plays in front where the logo is. This is a shame as this is mostly used in a social setting (it literally has a social setting) where people aren't always in front of it. Setup was easy. The buttons are easy to find. The battery stores a lot of juice.
