I am installing an ozone water treatment system and am using these strips to detect ozone leaks at connection points. When Teflon tubing is connected to an ozone generator, anti-backflow valves, and a venturi injector, concentrated ozone gas sometimes leaks out, and that's bad. You do NOT want to stick your nose into the connection point to see if you can smell the ozone because if you inhale it from such a short distance you will ruin the rest of your day! Simply hold one of these test strips near the connector and in the event of an ozone leak, the strip will instantly change color to indicate an ozone leak. Works perfectly! Gentle on your nose!
