This hat is very comfortable. It's lightweight, stretchy, and fits almost any head. I tried it on 3 people aged 5-40 with different hair types and it worked for everyone. It is suitable for straight hair, medium-height Afro-teens and preschoolers with hair throughout. It fit us all well and everyone said it was comfortable. The photos show it worn over straight hair, while the middle image shows how much room there is for curly hair or an afro. It has wide ribbing that is actually made up of the cap itself, rather than uncomfortable ribbing. It is silky on the outside and lined with satin on the inside. I have a couple of GE caps and loved them, but to be honest these fit me better. I will buy more!
