The lock I replaced today was on the passenger side. The old one sometimes started to freeze and didn't unlock fully, I had to press unlock 2-3 times. The work took only 30 minutes. Remove the outside door handle and inside door handle and remove the rods, all of which remain attached to the operator. Then simply remove the old drive, swap the stems for the new one, install the drive, and then put everything back together. The new lock works great. Same branded driver side drive I installed last year and it still works great. I recommend this brand. They are affordable and work great.
