So I bought this board out of sheer boredom and light lol but I have others to compare such as: B. A mechanical Asceny board with black switches. Great compact GMMK board that costs $120-130 with brown switches. And of the two great ones I mentioned, the most expensive and a great buy, I find this board to be my main board at the moment, actually nice from the lighting effects to the ability to swap switches, but don't expect a top tier experience or 300US -dollar it's definitely a good buy and a big upgrade over the Ascension. It's also a bit more compact than this in my opinion, longer than wider, which makes it easier for me and more comfortable to use for longer hours. Sometimes I think there's a 60% option, I have ten keyless buttons, so I still have the arrow keys, but I think the compact version if they have it (I should have checked beforehand) would be even better if you didn't. I didn't mind losing arrows. Despite this, it is compact and works perfectly. it has an oily feel with the red switches, i also thought i mentioned that i catch myself sometimes that i think i missed hitting a button but i did, that's how smooth it is for me and then vice versa, sometimes I feel like I pressed but didn't. A NOTICE; ; I believe this board can use almost any switch but always double triple check, I'm not an expert just someone who enjoys testing and trying out products like keyboards and switches. Now I think this also requires bare switches because my GMMK took that and I used these reds on the GMMK but found they wouldn't work but the browns on my Glorious board could fit on the womier . Coated ones have those extra little pins, uncoated ones don't. You can make a few upgrades to this womier that will make it even better, from different sway bars to a little derailleur lubrication. I would recommend this if you have experience with it. Aside from the form here on Amazon where I don't really suggest buying switches unless you can find a really good deal, I recommend switching to new switch keys, it's cheaper and they have a huge selection. Also, they explain more about different switches and what's compatible :):):):) It's been a long time but I know someone reads this and likes it lol I'm trying to be critical without overbranding or selling too much push. I'm not getting paid for this: phew oh I don't know if it has the hardware to further tweak the colors but I know it has a lot of options I'm sure you'll find something that works. You can also control two lighting modes, top with the buttons and bottom and/or sides, although you can't do too much with bottom/side placement, but you can also turn it off entirely, which I like, if you want only have keys. Hope this helped, if you buy it give this review a thumbs up or something. Goodbye :)
