Review on Western Digital WD5000AAKS: The High-Capacity 500GB Hard Drive You Need by Makoto Yoshimoto ᠌

It was a terrible purchase, but I wasted my money.

In point of fact, a summary of the status, including the amount of time the system has been running and the number of times it has been restarted, can be found in the attached screenshot. But, at the same moment, the operating system crashed severely and refused to boot. In addition to that, I connected this ugly to a computer that was working properly and it had a second disk. My operating system had already begun loading, and he started trying to restore this disk. And that's it, the operating system on my hard drive has likewise died, and it's currently stuck in the process of restoring this disk. On the other hand, I saw a recovery after using the benefit. I was confused as to the nature of the connection between the failure of this disk and the operating system that was stored on another drive. In point of fact, I was able to obtain information regarding its state by connecting it through the docking station. And the only way I was able to fix it was to perform a diagnosis and then restore the boot sector. Fortunately, there were backups of what had been lost, which was the primary reason why I needed to perform information recovery. One of the interesting things is that I found excessive overheating of the microcircuits on the board with the assistance of a thermograph. Of course, the hard disk thermal sensor brazenly lies and says that everything is fine with it. Absolutely, and when it has a load on it, it makes a sound that is out of character for it. On the other hand, as the screenshot demonstrates, the SMART disk asserts that there are no problems with it.

Pros
  • nothing.
Cons
  • It shatters in an extremely odd fashion. Information will be provided in the comments.
