Savings in the future

This device allows me to connect the power source to the connecting device and not to the Mac Book Pro. This reduces my chances of breaking the connection in the Mac book. It's a lot cheaper to replace the power adapter and power cord than to get someone into the Mac book and fix the internal connection. I often unplug and plug the power cord back in, I don't want to have any problems. I think that's how I get the best result.
