cute toy but very cheaply made. That's about what I expected for the $10 I paid for it. The packaging says "3 LR4G" batteries are required, but these are not included. It also mentions installing AA batteries, so I opened it up to take a look. Despite what the packaging said, it came with 3 button cell batteries (I think they meant LR44 batteries). The little fish and turtle are made of hollow thin plastic which I suspect will break easily if dropped. Batteries are not needed for fishing, only for the light inside the fish to work. When the magnet in the fish mouth comes into contact with the magnet on the hook of the fishing rod, the fish will flash and glow. The description mentions that this is a bath toy but this is not mentioned anywhere on the semi poorly translated box. The seams on the fish don't look like they'll keep water out for long, but judging by the price, I think the game is worth it. This is a Christmas present for my 4 year old so I haven't tried it yet. not yet but i will update after he tries. I would also like to warn parents that this toy has exposed/uncovered magnets that can be knocked out of the toy. If you have infants/toddlers who are still putting things in their mouths, be careful. Magnets are very dangerous if swallowed.
