Factory quality plastic and printing. Pulls up perfectly to snag a 1998 Pontiac Firebird TransAm. Didn't solve my engine check issue but the gasket is certainly better than the twenty year old it replaced so it serves its original purpose of properly sealing the tank and deserves an average 3 star rating. Please note that the plastic cable is NOT a factory length and is basically just deducting two stars as it is obvious that the devices on the same site are half price if they are not a true replacement for factory specs. It has to be the most idiotic thing to offer it to the public as "Original Equipment" when it's clear that the cable GM offered was about 3 inches longer. The proposed ACDELCO GT299 block has a 4 inch cable and that doesn't even come close. above the factory button on the hinge of the gas cap. I had to cut a new wire and 'add' 3 inches from my old, properly assembled factory cap. twice the price of other devices for sale If you have the original cover and don't mind cutting and lengthening the cable with tape, this cover is for you.
