Review on All-Clad 59900 Oven-Safe Stainless Steel 7-Inch Oval-Shaped Baker Set - 2-Piece Specialty Cookware in Elegant Silver by Richard Woods

Basically very glad I ordered them. I also ordered round shapes because I couldn't decide which ones I would use the most. At the moment, I'm leaning toward round pans because they're deeper and a little beefier, and because the textured surface of round pans (as opposed to the polished surfaces of oval pans) is easier to keep clean and look new. I'm an all-clad collector and always prefer the US made ones. They are made in China, but also round shapes. I bought these for my new Breville convection oven and they fit perfectly. I also bought a 9 inch square casserole dish and this is my favorite of the 3 purchases partly because it is made in the USA. I thought these All Clad pans would encourage me to use my new oven instead of indulging in my microwave habit and so far the plan is working! Hooray! All Clad is a lot of fun to use; Foods I used to cook in the microwave taste MUCH better when cooked in the oven. But my main motivation is to cook healthier food, and many sources say that microwavable food is not suitable. These pans help me make healthier choices because they're fun and beautiful. Hope this helps you decide. Any issues I have with these pans, so 4 stars, are purely aesthetic (there were funny patterns on the surface that weren't polished with the bartender's friend) and it's ok - I don't care that they're in Made in China Would I buy again.
