User error in exhaust pipes and tips
I bought this for a '98 Durango. Looks great, looks good and was EASY to install. Only about 5 minutes. Fitted straight away, I had no problems other than not trimming the bumper properly. My truck has a 2.5" bent pipe on the bumper cover from the factory which I replaced with a straight one at the rear. To do this I had to cut off part of the bumper to accommodate this larger diameter tip as well as the new exhaust port. This tip is now partially covered in melted plastic, but appears to be starting to peel off. I recommend if you pay more attention to your work than I do!
