So the color does not match the picture
Hopefully after oiling the board it will look more like the color pictured. That was the only reason I bought this particular board. The packaging left a lot to be desired. A very heavy cutting board was placed in a thin cardboard box. At one point he fell on a corner and damaged the corner. The man will sand it down to smooth it out so there are no splinters. So don't wait for another one that may or may not be corrupted.
