I was very grateful to buy window film because of the mirror effect when inside is lighter than outside. But BABY, when I say these white guys are the best, take my word for it, they are the best. I didn't want traditional mini blinds because my front windows are over 8ft tall, I wanted some to be transparent and the rest closed during the day and the curtains closed at night. But when I hung them, I didn't need the curtains because you couldn't see anything at all, but I could see if someone was on my porch. I only hung curtains because the aesthetic needed them for the front, but I didn't have to close them once at night. I've read that other colors still create a mirror effect, but if you're looking for opacity at night and are super easy to apply, then these colors are for you. PS make sure you leave the conner open before trimming it, it's a monster that can be ripped open once the conner is unopened.
