This is a great way to cool off your dog on a hot day! The cool vest fits well, is stretchy and can be easily pulled over the head and adjusted with Velcro. I soaked it in cold water, wrung it out and put it in a ziplock bag in the fridge the night before we needed it. During use, you'll have to splash it with cold water from time to time, wring it out and put it back on, but overall it's a lot better than others we've tried. I kept it in an ice and water bag in the fridge for lunch when not in use during the day when we were inside and put it on her when we went outside. It's light and not hard at all. Didn't leave her fur wet either. She wore it all day when it was 91 degrees outside. Definitely helped her keep her cool. We bought a medium sized dog and he weighs 19 pounds but he is a bit small for a french bulldog.
