We've only had this rug a few days but the cat loves it. After putting it on the bed, sofa, etc., she encourages her to sit on that place and spare the rest of the furniture, she likes it so much. I'm not an expert on gift wrapping, so I guess a little ineptitude is on my part. Folding the rear end into the bed makes it ideal for carrying. Update: be smarter than me. If it's on furniture near the edge, secure it somehow. Otherwise, the cat will jump on him, slide onto the ground with him, and then find it spooky. The back is a bit slippery. I thought he was far enough from the edge. Lesson learned.
