I have several 5-gal. Fuel jugs, and each jug has a 3/4" threaded hole in the cap for attaching a threaded fuel hose to the fuel nozzle cap. However, the original connector that comes with the petrol jug is also plastic, so it needs to be screwed in and complete be recessed into the cap to ensure complete closure.The slit at the top of the stopper of the original stoppers can be slightly deformed when removed/inserted into the cap.because the head of the tri-sure stopper remains on the top of the cap . -out.
