It may seem ridiculous, but we have better luck with medium-flavored toothpaste than with candy-flavored toothpaste. My son doesn't swallow toothpaste and the tube lasts much longer now. I have bought 10 different brands of toothpaste for my 3 year old and Jason Strawberry toothpaste was the best. I was looking for the most natural, safe, and effective fluoride-free option because my son makes a mess on the go. It's certainly not the tastiest toothpaste, but it's not that bad either. However, since it doesn't taste as good as the mainstream blue brands, my little one has stopped eating toothpaste. Now he brushes his teeth and the toothbrush doesn't waste too much either. The blue colored toothpaste also made a terrible mess all over the place and I love that this toothpaste is a clear color so it's not that messy. We prefer the strawberry flavor and keep the subscription and save every month. We use (1) 4.2 ounce tube every 30 days, brush 3 times a day, and my son just had a dental exam with no tooth decay or signs of gum problems.
