Review on 🐱 JoyCat Kaleidoscope: Exploring Inspiring Japanese Patterns and Projects by Carol Miller

The origami paper itself is fun and seems to be of good quality. However, the instructions leave a lot to be desired. It's as if they were typed into Google Translate and not someone actually translated them. I bought this for my 8 year old and it's hard for me to understand the instructions and almost impossible for him. QR codes that link to videos aren't much more useful as the steps are very quick and your hands are in the way all the time. Even with the slowest playback on YouTube, we hardly see what's happening due to the hands pressed to the paper. Not at all happy with what was intended as entertainment but turned into a lot of work.
