I have had several pepper mills but after reading a few reviews I decided to give the Peugeot a try. This has to be the best I've ever used. The grinder works smoothly and it's just superb at preserving the coarseness or fineness of my pepper. This will probably be the last pepper mill I will ever have to buy. Just make sure you only use peppercorns that are no larger than 5.5mm. You may be able to block the grinder. I contacted Peugeot and they did not recommend using Tellycherry peppercorns. That's why I gave it a 4 out of 5 rating.
