This is a high quality hook attachment system. Everything is very strong and reliable, and the hooks are easy to move and install. in the US they are 16 inches apart. If you make this 18 inches you can turn the screws at the 16 inch mark. into pens. And don't even think about hanging them with drywall anchors, they'll pop out of the wall long before you get close to hook capacity. I cut out a piece of plywood that I attached and screwed to the wall. It works and is secure, but not elegant.
