I don't think elderly folks would have been able to handle the difficulty of making a phone call. Scan the numbers on the light bulb that is already installed into the ceiling using the iPhone's camera (you could use the numbers on the box, but you've lost it by this point). To begin sharing in the Home app, I had to first establish a connection in Yeelight for iPhone. Yeelight is a great software for Android; I didn't have to scan anything before using it because it automatically does a search and establishes a connection. In my opinion, more settings are doable. In the "wave" mode, there is a need for more than 4 colors, and the drop-off from 4 to 1 is more pronounced than the one from 1-2-3-4. After a month of playtime, I finally landed on the following three settings: Bright, Medium, and Off.
