Review on Smart bracelet HONOR Band 5, blue by Gabriela Dmoch ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like it, thanks for the quality product.

I had previously used a Mi Band 3 for about a year. I chose to get an Honor Band 5 specifically to measure sleep because the Mi Band had difficulty with this and did not take daytime sleep into account. In general, I enjoy everything, with the exception of how alerts are implemented, which requires me to divulge all spam that reaches my phone because the Telegram application isn't among the list of possible programs and the icons don't show. The Huawei Health app includes a connection to the Apple Health app and synchronization occurs more faster than it does with the Mi Fit app for Xiaomi. In conclusion, upgrading from the Mi Band 3 was definitely necessary, but getting the Mi Band 4 is not out of the question. If receiving notifications and effortlessly changing tunes are more important to you, go with the Mi Band. Choose the Honor Band if you value higher-quality performance and more accurate sensors.

Pros
  • Oximeter - Comfortable strap - Color screen without flicker - Excellent oil-repellent coating - Thin enough: in dreams, does not stick to the pillow. - Fast alarm setting, as soon as the application is launched. Oximeter, soft strap, and color screen without flicker Excellent oleophobic coating; thin enough so that it doesn't adhere to the pillow in the bag. - Reliable sleep monitoring
Cons
  • Few dials; the timer is hidden under "More" (also on the Mi Band 4); battery is less than analogs; I had to set constant pulse measurement to "smart"; otherwise, it lasted for a few days; and inconvenient notifications; Telegram is not supported. In order for the oximeter to function, the strap needs to be fastened very firmly.
