. Bought for dark hair. It was difficult for me to switch between 3 and 4 stars. The powder itself absorbs a crazy amount of oil, which I love. I have a problem with not having a lot of powder on my head. It won't be a big problem because I can blend it out pretty easily, but the powder, even the dark hair version, is very light. This is a light brown that I would not use on hair darker than light brown, it would even be perfect for those with medium to dark blonde hair. I wish they made a really dark brown hair powder, I would buy this stuff occasionally. Smells like an Aveda product if you are familiar with the nature of the products. Flowery and slightly earthy, I like it.
