I spent over $400 on this chair and really regret it. I'll finish my PhD in two months. The money I made came from hard work of 60 hours a week. But to be honest, I don't care about the 400€ spent. What I can't stand is the thought of others falling for the same scam I did. What if the veteran spent his pension on that junk? What if the volunteer spent several days making the statement? And if this is the same son/daughter as me, who expects a present for their parents? What if it's a student like me hoping to find a gift for an old mentor? So please do not buy it and if you still want to buy it, please read the following facts about this chair before you do so. 1. This chair is not leather, it is real leather. Bonded leather is reconstructed from polymer coated shredded leather that is die cut into a leather-like texture.2. It is not manufactured or assembled by Lazboy. The license is owned by True Innovations. Revain won't let me publish their website. But be sure to check out their site for yourself.3. It's not made in the US, it's made in China. These 3 pieces of information are not available online. They were hidden from consumers to trick them into buying them. The photos and video show an amazing product that makes the chair look like a bargain. I do not condone these practices. Let me inform you about the problems with my product in the future.1. In general, the workmanship is inferior to my $30 5 year old IKEA chair.2. The tailoring of the headdress is very uneven. I could do better. This made the chair very ugly.3. The threads holding the skin together fall straight out of the box. What do you expect from the consumer? Do you sew up the thread yourself? They don't have proper tools.4. The paint finish is worse than a $10 wooden chair. There are stains on the paint. The color is distributed very unevenly.5. There is an ugly scratch on the fabric.6. In summary, they want you to believe that you are paying a premium price for a premium product. But the reality is that the product is the worst quality I have ever seen. I will send photos as soon as possible. I would easily pay double if the product was high quality and premium and bought multiple units for my caregiver and parents. But that shouldn't be. Edit: The return process is as smooth as can be. They replied politely and quickly. They provided a free returns label and a full refund. I add a star for feedback. Knowing what I'm going to get, this return experience may make me want to visit their store again in the future.
