My wife bought these for me (us) as we have bought several ready made headlamps and have gone from happy (except for endless battery changes) to extremely dissatisfied. Even the best store bought models pale in comparison to this model. Fit: Although ALMOST too tight for my head size 8, it fits securely and above all comfortably. The battery compartment on the back is well balanced with the lamp assembly, and the pillow mount on the back keeps the strap secure to the head and is very comfortable. My wife can size it down as the straps are adjustable. Brightness: This is the brightest headlamp I've ever seen, period. You will not be disappointed. Power Source: Using 18650 batteries not only means you can use the device for longer, but also means you have a supply of rechargeable batteries and rarely buy new ones. It will be significantly cheaper than any other headlight you have. I have not tested the water resistance and do not ride with it. I haven't been stalked yet, but the next time I'm stalked with a headlamp I'll come back to update my review. when i come back All in all, you can't go wrong with this headlamp. UPDATE: I will fix it. Of the two lights, one has failed in 12 months of ownership and I can't find any warranty information or even contact details for the manufacturer. So much for trusting the "lifetime guarantee” claim. Let the buyer be alert
