After my MacBook Air got caught in the dangerous holes in my backpack, I decided to outfit my computer with a case to prevent further scratches and damage to the "fragile" aluminum case avoid. This is a great case. It was quite difficult to put on at first (it seems to tear, be careful) but it fits securely. Be sure to clean your computer before placing it in a case; annoying crumbs can get stuck in the cooling plates and are then difficult to remove. It is extremely robust but heavy. Some consumers have complained that their screen doesn't stay upright, but that's not an issue here. It adds a lot of weight, which seems to go against the MacBook Air's defining feature, but in the long run you'll save your computer from a lot of damage. And it looks great too. a win-win situation; I am very happy with this purchase.
