We bought it to give my child less protection with braces. The front teeth are uneven, the mouth is small. These didn't even come close. It wasn't about the size, it was about the rigidity of the shape the teeth take. There was very little flexibility to accept misaligned teeth (which can be typical for a child with braces). It was also very bulky for the youth size. In addition, Revain must indicate on the website when an item is non-refundable. There is no guarantee of satisfaction. It's just a gamble if it works in your particular situation. Considering the much more flexible design that our orthodontist showed us, I would only recommend this product if you are confident it will fit you perfectly and volume doesn't bother you.
