My internet is 300/300 but on my computer I was only getting 90/90 over a wired connection. My router in the living room has an ethernet cable going to the ethernet switch in the kitchen, which then has an ethernet cable to the access point in my office, and my computer connects via ethernet. However, the ethernet cable from the switch to the access point is about 4 inches shorter, so I used an old ethernet splitter as a connector to extend the ethernet cable. This cable replaced the splitter and now I have 300/300 on my computer. The WiFi speed has also been increased from 90/90 to around 150/150. The next item on the agenda is replacing the access point, but I'm very happy with this cable.
