These purple amethyst earrings are amazing. They come in a sturdy burgundy faux alligator leather presentation box giving the presentation a very sophisticated and premium look. Earrings have a very deep, light shade. Photos do not convey this. They appear very dark, but catch the light effectively. The 14k white gold metal is smooth and shiny. The box comes with a certification card, but it says the gemstones are natural diamonds. I suspect that can't be true (since they appear to be real amethysts), but of course there's no way to tell the truth unless you go to a jewelry appraiser. Despite this, they appear to be natural stones. They are heavy in hand and have a good weight. The construction looks solid and reliable, like it will last for many years. I am sure that I will use a lot of them. Overall I am very satisfied with 4 out of 5 stars. I just want the certificate to be accurate so you can really see the method/nature of the stone. If you can ignore it, I recommend it to you or anyone who wants exquisite jewelry at an affordable price.
