Be realistic about what you expect in terms of size and cost.

The binoculars are really light and small. Measurements are approximately 2 5/8" front to back, 4" side to side fully open, 3 3/8" side to side folded, 1 15/16" tall when folded and the distance measured from the center of both lenses with eyecup sizes 2 1/4 to 2 7/8 inches apart. The binocular body measures approximately 3 1/4" high, 3 3/4" deep and 3 3/4" wide. Binoculars with case are so light it's not worth mentioning. Remember that on the Packaging says it's suitable for ages 13+ Is that what you expect from a kids toys section? No, but don't expect high class either. However, I think it works decently. The zoom size is good for general use I think Viewing things like landscapes or sports that aren't too far away, I'd say block distance for a normal close-up of a given subject, or farther for panoramic sightseeing. If you want to get up and get close to objects that are far away, this isn't for you .I would suggest that you go to a store with a couple of different wattage binoculars and try them out to get an idea of what wattage you need. Also to see how wide the sic should be htfeld. You need to know what to expect and what you are sacrificing based on size, weight, performance and cost. You have to be realistic about what you want and what you are paying for. The sharpness on them was pretty good. There are some complaints about people being unable to line up both stems, resulting in double images or shading around the edges. I've noticed that this happens if you don't bring your eyes closer to the cups and adjust the width so that your eyes are in the center of both lenses. Some people may not be aware of this and open them too wide for their eyes, or their eyes are not close enough to take advantage of the full spectrum of the lens. I bought these for a backpacker so he can travel light and compact. A bigger increase would have been nice, but it would have added weight, volume, and cost, and he probably would have left it at home if it wasn't easy to pack.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • I won't say anything
