Finally a sexy iron!

If you love the LOOK of this iron (analogue version) with its bright turquoise sole, treat yourself. This is a rare SEXY iron! If looks are important to you, you'll SMILE every time you have to iron, and this little fun makes up for some of the little troubles. Here's what you might NOT like: 1. You can't fill the steam tank without laying the iron flat. This is normal when you first start ironing, but expect a charge mess if you try to hold the iron flush to the board (but not touching the board) while pouring water out with your other hand. The problem is the hinged lid. above the water inlet. It attaches to the pointed end of the iron and has no latch. So when your iron is standing upright on the end, that little lid doesn't stay open and you can't fill it with water. It only stays open when the iron is tight. A SIMPLE SOLUTION would be to attach the lid to the bottom. You can adjust like mine or take the lid off like I imagined! See my photos.2. The temperature control is very detailed and is located entirely under the handle. So if you have a small hand, it can be difficult to move the controller without taking your hand off the handle. I think the idea was that while holding the iron's handle, you could use your thumb and forefinger to reach the edge of the dial to adjust it. With my smaller hand, I have to move my hand to reach the grip and turn the dial with the palm of my thumb. I wouldn't mind if I didn't have to deal with issue #3.3. The badges and imprint on the dial are HARD TO READ if you are over 40. As a matter of fact. Does anyone under 40 iron?4. The iron switches off too quickly when not in use. It's a real sedative when I'm sewing and ironing on the go. This adds a lot of wasted time to my sewing/ironing routine. Quilters and crafters might think that's crazy. + + + As for the PLUS POINTS, it's TURQUOISE NON-STICK SOLE! It's great and really non-stick.1. The iron uses tap water.2. Self cleaning.3. A steam/no steam switch is located above the handle, allowing you to switch between steam and dry without missing a beat.4. The spray option works very well. The sole hasn't had to be cleaned yet, although I've ironed the plastic and wrong sides of the glue patches. I ironed the buttons and pins and the sole is scratch resistant.6. The weight of the iron is correct. Not too heavy, not too easy. The balance of the iron in the hand is just right and does not cause fatigue.7. The price is lower than comparable irons and all materials of the iron seem to be of high quality. Despite some inconveniences, this tool looks sharp and does what it needs to do for the casual user or professional. This is a VERY GOOD IRON. Treat yourself to a new IRONING BOARD extra wide with wings!
