This might be the best $400 Chromebook on the market right now Unfortunately I had to send mine back The display is a good Full HD 1920 x 1080 with bright crisp colors The keyboard is great. The trackpad is large and responsive. Internet browsing is very fast. I tested this machine with Octane 2 and got around 12000 points. Not bad for a Celeron. So why sent it back. The problem was that the chromebook i received had 2 manufacturing defects the case is aluminum which is great but the bottom edge of my case was sharp all around i think the aluminum case was a fraction of a millimeter wider. It wasn't sharp enough to be cut, but gave the Chromebook an unfinished feel. The second issue was that the trackpad was loose. It worked well, but when you pressed (which you often do on Chromebooks), the trackpad rattled slightly. I thought I could live with that but the more I used it the more it drove me crazy. I hope these build issues only happened on the Chromebook I received and all other Acer 514's don't have this issue.
