I bought this because I like playing Nintendo 3DS in bed with headphones while holding the 3DS on my chest, but the headphone jack on the bottom of the 3DS means that the end of the headphone cable was straight , digging into my chest very uncomfortably. That's why I wanted such a rectangular adapter. You can easily make something like that much smaller. This adapter is huge. And the corner is thick, hard, made of plastic with hard edges, which is no less inconvenient to dig into the flesh. My suggestion is to redesign them, making them significantly smaller and giving the corners a nice smooth rounded edge with soft silicone rubber.
