This toy is a bit like a simplified Lego set. Instead of plastic bolts that snag under physical strain, weak magnets inserted into opposing pieces hold the pieces together. Although they work like Lego, they don't work like Lego. The material collected is not a fixed toy. The car seems to squirm around corners. The wooden parts are well stained, appear to be completely non-toxic and also completely safe. They are magnetic but very weak and the pieces are large. The police "station" is more like a tent, but it works. The toy car is adorable. It feels like a really nice toy, makes great noises, like a police car, which baby will enjoy. I think it's great for developing motor skills. In fact, it's good that the child doesn't even assemble it and has to reassemble the car or install the station. The toy feels and looks good, with smooth sides and edges. I think it's good value for money.
