I can’t understand why everyone writes the phrase “set it and forget it”? This happens with any equipment, why write about it? Or do you mean "set it and forget it like a bad dream"? Or "set up and forgot how it's done", because I rummaged through the entire Internet in search of normal instructions, and next time I won't remember, since the settings are not at all trivial. The customization options are rich, but for home use are redundant. At home, you usually need something else. Those who write about seamless roaming in these devices do not understand what they are talking about. He's not there! Seamless roaming is provided by 8022022k/v/r protocols, which Mikrotik does not support. The device does not support wifi6 aka ax which is unforgivable nowadays. Poe - is, but it cannot be missing in such devices. Moreover, this is a passive poe, which is no longer compatible with anyone except Mikrotik. All competitors for less money have a standard active poe 802.3af / at, compatible with any equipment. For almost three years I used two such devices at home: I did not notice any supernatural abilities to break through walls. Reception is normal, even mediocre. Switched to competitors: got WiFi 6, really seamless roaming and poe compatible with other equipment.
