As a quick historical note, in the 1970's we needed terabit storage instead of bytes for huge amounts of different data collected in different places in different ways. We had almost an acre of subterranean vaults with electronic, magnetic and mechanical facilities. Now I get 4TB on a plain drive! It's fast, reliable and unbeatable in price. As we expand into all-electronic storage, this device will become indispensable. I've found that we double our storage needs every 3-4 years, so we always stay ahead of the onion wave. And compared to the "cloud", I know who has my data and where it is. Excellent purchase!
