I installed the wall mount on 16" single wood studs - ok - extra spacing between studs, ahh, extensions may be ok. The horizontal TV mounts matched Sony's 49-inch TV perfectly, and there were plenty of hardware options in the box. Attaching the TV to the wall mount was easy with two people. The TV can easily be moved at a 20 degree angle, but I wish the arm links and screws were larger e.g. B. with a thread of at least 3/8 inch and ideally 1/2 inch. The TV feels secure and it's nice to face in different directions, but I wouldn't push the mounting brackets too far for wide angles or install a larger TV. We have a 65 inch TV in the living room. I wouldn't even try this TV mount.
