Strong and durable shoes
First of all, I didn't slip on the dusty dirt road! I was on a steep slope going down a hill where I practically slipped in my running shoes. So far, they've helped with a 2-mile hike on dirt roads and a 4-mile hike at Crystal Cove State Park. I usually wear an 8.5 for sneakers and a 9 for heels. Eight suit me. These are wide sandals.
