It does what it's supposed to do. This is done to switch displays without having to disconnect cables from the actual display and plug in another. I use this for my racing simulator. I have 3 monitors for it and 2 on my desk. I use 2 of these switches to switch between my setup and my table. My sim rig runs at 1440p monitors at 144hz while my desktop monitors run at 1080p at 144hz. There are no issues with resolution and refresh rate. This switch requires extra power, which I personally prefer for sure. They're USB powered, so you'll either need to buy a USB wall adapter or plug them into your computer. I already had a USB hub (which also plugs into an outlet) so my 2 switches work fine. No issues, good quality, not too bulky, easy to switch between displays. 5 out of 5 for me.
