This is a shiny, stainless steel, adjustable bracelet with a lobster-type clasp. The interlocking chain seems very sturdy and not prone to break apart. The heart is about 3/4 inches at its widest. It is stamped with the words "Mother & Daughter" (not engraved) in block black-tone print. I feel that this is more suitable to a young teen girl rather than a woman due to the simplicity of the style so it would make a nice gift for that age. I know that my older daughters would not wear this and would prefer something much more delicate and likely much more expensive! It comes in a box with a drawstring pouch for gift-giving.
