This muscle system replica is amazing! It is difficult to find anatomical models where you can not only easily identify the muscles, but also remove part of the muscles to get into a deeper layer! I have an educational physical therapy series on YouTube, AskDoctorJo, and it's perfect for showing people how the body works and why it hurts. You can tell that this model took a lot of time. It appears to be hand painted which makes it even more special. Each muscle is numbered and comes with a great booklet listing all the numbers. I like it because if you are studying and/or in an educational setting you can practice as you would in practice. Write down the answers, and then go to the journal to make sure you are correct. I really like how it shows the deeper layers including the brain, the inside of the abdomen and even under the superficial muscles (for the arms and legs). One of my favorite things to do is show people how the sciatic nerve runs under the piriformis muscle and down the leg. I think it helps to show people why their foot can hurt because of a nerve problem coming from behind! Overall I think this is a great anatomical model and I think every educational and/or clinical setting should have one. My dogs even agree (you can see them in the pictures), although they were a bit scared at first :-)
