Bought for my parents who live next door (behind me). I bought extra buttons, 8 in total. One for each of them if they want to wear them around their necks during the day. One to hang in each bathroom. one on each bedside table. one in the kitchen and one in the garage. They're less than 500 feet, about 300 or so. The receivers (2) ring around my house and I have a wireless receiver that I wear when I'm outside e.g. B. in the garden. The only thing is that it only rings 2 times each time you press it. So if they just press the button once, it only calls me twice. Let's say if it's not audible (like when I'm unloading the car or in the shower) I don't know it worked. So tell the person to press several times, at least 3 or 4 times, if they need help. That's the only thing that could be a problem. Other than that, I really like it and hopefully we'll never need it. I bought it for my parents who are in their 90's, fortunately healthy but in an emergency they can get confused and that puts my mother at ease.
