I bought this about a year ago after not being able to clean a Drano or Hand Snake. A few months ago I had a clog in the sink that I couldn't clear either, and the plumber came out. $120 to clear. Installing new plumbing for the sink would have cost another $150, but I did it myself. So, I've seen this and already used a Ryobi drill, saw, etc. and a rechargeable battery. Since then I've had 3 blockages (old house), 2 behind the wall so that was great and I cleared them. It takes some effort, especially after the snake first wound its way into the vent instead of the main house's sewers. So if it looks like it's behind a wall, you'll need to fly to a straight pipe in the wall and make sure it's going down. . The second blockage in the bathroom sink had a 40-year-old brass trap from U. Ryobi quite violently and cracked it. Oops. So be careful. . Either way, I highly recommend it. Not super easy to use, but easy to learn.
