Update: They also work on the new PS5 controller! It's a lot harder to break than a PS4 controller, but still not bad. It took about 15 minutes to dismantle both controllers and swap joysticks. I was already noticing the typical signs of wear and tear on the joystick itself, so I decided to give it a try. Now that's not a problem and it looks pretty cool! Old review: I installed it and played around with it a bit. I think I might like that they're a bit bigger, but they're definitely bigger than PS4 joysticks. Enough, it's super eye-catching. For small hands, this may seem awful. I don't notice or care that the rubber grip is gone.
