First of all, this cap worked just like the original. In my case it didn't stick like people say. Looking the other way, actually looking at it, I haven't noticed any change. I have a 2003 Honda Element. If you're the reader I'm assuming you have the same exhaust valve that I have. This lid didn't fix it, but after trying known good lids, I now realize that's not the problem. I know from experience that a new cap can solve your problem. I found the valve to be the problem, but figured why not make sure it wasn't an $8 cap before spending $80. Good luck, dear reader.
